Publicis Groupe Media has won the media strategy, planning, and buying account for Swiss chocolate giant Lindt & Sprüngli across Europe.
After a monthlong pitch whose final stages included Omnicom’s PHD and Havas, Publicis Media has come out on top of Swiss chocolate manufacturer Lindt & Sprüngli’s integrated media tender, covering approximately 12 markets and worth around 100 million euros.
Lindt & Sprüngli’s decision to choose Publicis Media as the winner of the competition came after a comprehensive evaluation of their potential media agency partners, resulting in Publicis Media earning Lindt & Sprüngli’s media strategy, planning, and buying account.
Unlike some other brands in the sector, the Kilchberg-based confectionery giant did not cut their advertising spending during 2020, and actually increased it compared to 2019, in order to ensure continuous future growth.
