After a successful night, Publicis Groupe Hungary has picked up many awards at Arany Penge this year too! 1 Gold, 5 Silver, and 4 Bronze. Read on for more!
When it comes to picking up awards, 2024 has been a good year for us. We took home a bunch—including Agency of the Year—at the Hipnozis Awards in May, but we’re not planning on stopping. In fact, we’re keeping our winning streak going as we’ve also picked up quite a few at the Arany Penge Awards. After a stellar night at the award ceremony, we came home with 1 Gold, 5 Silver, and 4 Bronze “Golden Blades”. There were also a couple of special awards, as we also got a special prize for from SlágerFM Sound Stage Award for Zewa (III Place), We Are Open, and our very own Orsolya Eidenpenz got the Zsenge Penge for Strategy.
Arany Penge—Golden Blade in Hungarian—is one of the most coveted awards in the creative field in Hungary, running since 2000, giving us prestigious recognition for the campaigns we submitted. We made 22 submissions and got 15 into the shortlist! But let’s look at the juicy stuff: What we’ve won!
We won gold for the emotional Last School Trip campaign for Radnóti Theater in the PR solutions/ CSR—social responsibility by a profit-oriented company category. The case study is below!
We racked up a few silvers, taking home five silver blades from the award ceremony.
Johnnie Walker opened up a conversation with The Uncomfortable Unboxing, an exciting social campaign where they teamed up with Hungarian influencers to open the conversation on female empowerment. This one got three silver awards for Design solutions, Innovative choice of platform (best use of media), Promo&Activation solutions and Creative Strategy. Johnnie Walker’s Footsteps of Progress also got some well-deserved attention, as it showed that the brand is willing to walk the walk when it comes to empowering women and took home the silver in the Integrated solutions category.
The Last School Trip campaign for Radnóti Theater not only won a gold but also a silver blade in the Event Solutions/Offline Event category.
We also added some bronzes to the award lineup. The first was for Samsung’s Futureproof Academy: Disputa in the film solutions category. Algoflex Muscle + Joint also got a bronze for out-of-home solutions for the Reflex Playground. Johnnie Walker’s The Uncomfortable Unboxing took home a bronze for Promo & Activation Solutions, and the innovative campaign for Radnóti Theater, Propaganda Theater, which got the Grand Prix in Hipnozis back in May, picked up a bronze in the Integrated solutions categories.
We also won a couple of special awards. First and foremost, our very own Orsolya Eidenpenz received a Zsenge Penge Award, an award given to young talent and Orsi won the Strategy Category!
We also got two awards in the SlágerFM – Sound Stage Awards, one with a third place for Zewa and a Special prize for We Are Open’s Törd át a csendet campaign.
It’s been quite an eventful award season for us, and it wouldn’t be without all the incredible hard-working teams we have at Publicis Groupe Hungary, so we want to extend a huge congratulations and a massive thank you to everyone!
