Helga Sásdi, CEO of Publicis Groupe Hungary, proudly stands among AdAge’s Leading Women of 2023.
Publicis Group Hungary is pleased to celebrate its CEO, and co-CEO of Publicis Le Pont, Helga Sásdi on this exemplary recognition. Past honorees have included groundbreakers, forward-thinkers, and trailblazers in the industry. These women are empowering, relationship builders, who advocate for inclusion and diversity. Helga stands well among them.
Helga has been recognized for making Publicis Groupe Hungary the most diverse (with over 35 nationalities represented) and inclusive workplace in Hungary. Helga helped build the company to become the nation’s largest employer in advertising. The company also has the highest proportion of female leaders in the industry with over 65 percent compared to the CEE regional average at less than 20 percent.
Helga’s efforts in the LGBTQ+ community have also been noticed. She was the only CEO in the industry to stand out against the nation’s recent anti-LGBTQ+ law. She has also recently become the chair of the board for WeAreOpen, Hungary’s largest DEI organization, on a pro-bono basis. She has already made a significant impact by approaching DEI from a business angle and is currently working on expanding WeAreOpen into Poland.
AdAge’s Leading Women program has been recognizing and celebrating women in the advertising industry for over 20 years. Every year those women are honored who have greatly contributed to the industry by creating opportunities and driving transformation at companies of all kinds, whether a brand, agency, technology provider, or media platform. Just last year the program was expanded to include international entrants, so it’s even more rewarding that Publicis Groupe Hungary’s own CEO, Helga Sásdi made the list this year.
